A drawing of the main entrance to the Palace. Sited next to the River Thames, this lavishly funded palace was commissioned by Cardinal Wolsey and completed in 1525 in the reign of Henry VIII. Since then, the buildings have seen many changes leaving it today with two distinct architectural styles, Tudor and Baroque.
